Summer in October? Why not! The weather may have spoiled our plans the first time around, but summer got the extension it deserved after all. October 2 or October 8, who’s counting? We made it to Ploes Floating Venue in Palaio Faliro for a night quite literally on the water, with the Athens skyline all lit up before us.
The evening’s live soundtrack was courtesy of Monsieur Minimal, joined by some wonderful special guests from his album Mousikos Deipnos (“Musical Dinner”): Andriana Babali, Maria Papageorgiou, Lola Giannopoulou, Evi Mazi and Erofili Panagiotarea.
It was the music we love, the friends around us and a chilled glass of PARANGA BLUE wine that made us leave the city and its everyday routine behind and feel like we were back on a Greek island. Whichever island each of us had in mind!
And just like that, we went from gently swaying along to “Pasta Flora”, chatting and laughing, to “Spasta Flora” – and before we knew it, we were all dancing together! As the music picked up, the different groups of friends came together, and by the end, even the artists had joined in the dancing. And they were all amazing!
Summer and PARANGA. It’s a State of Mind.
Because it’s not so much about the season as it is about the feeling. And in the end, all the weather changed was the date. Not our plans for a fantastic night!
